Amiais de Cima is a Portuguese village belonging to the parish of Abrã, municipality of Santarém.
Located on the southern slope of the Porto de Mós Massif, with the Serra dos Candeeiros, it is 30 kilometers from the county seat.
Its name resulted, according to various opinions, from the existence of many alder trees along the Amiais stream, which crosses it and flows into the source of the Alviela river.

Its aggregation to the Parish of Abrã dates from 1621, the year in which the parish was created.
The village grew around the Capela da Santíssima Trindade, which dates from 1733.
In 1810 the village was plundered by French troops under the command of General Massena, with its population taking refuge in the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros.

It is said that the silver crosses of the Capela da Santíssima Trindade during the French invasions were hidden in the roof of the Chapel, having escaped the looting. They are still used today in processions and funerals.
The cross of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, is part of the Heraldry of the Parish of Abrã.
Its main road axis is Estrada Nacional 361, a link that has contributed decisively to its growth.
Its industrial base was the ceramics and wood processing industries.
